Policies

    Copyrights:

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License, providing immediate and permanent access for free to all types of original works. The license grants copyright to the author concerned and make the articles available for their reuse and dissemination.

Please contact us, for more information about the benefits of publishing in a journal from NorCal Publications.

    Publication Ethics:

NorCal recognizes the effort and involvement of a scholar in publishing an academic research work. To display quality in its articles, NorCal Publications support COPE guidelines and uphold high standards of publication ethics to all of its journals. To ensure fair evaluation process, all the submitted manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review process. The process involves strict measures to prevent plagiarism, archiving of manuscripts, falsification of data and miscellaneous submissions.

A declaration should be provided for any report on experiments involving human subjects substantiating that informed consent was obtained from the patients and/or guardian(s) in the submission of case studies. In the cover letter corresponding author should clearly state that the informed consent was obtained.

    Withdraw Policy:

Authors rarely solicit for withdrawal of manuscript from the publication process succeeding to submission or post-publication. In some instances, the request for withdrawal is made when the manuscript is only a few days away from publication in the journal. This may cause wastage of valuable time by the editors, reviewers, and the editorial staff.

If any of the authors wants to withdraw their manuscript(s) at the level of post-production, they need to pay 30% of the article processing charge for the withdrawal.

The corresponding author needs to provide the consent of agreement of withdrawal from all the co-authors who are involved in the study.
